The week of February 25th, the Mac Science department is bringing Dave Jackson’s Cave Sim trailer to the campus. Students who are in Mac science classes whose teachers have signed up will participate in several activities that have to do with caving and the associated science-related topics and career connections. As part of this journey, we have set it up for our Life Skills students to participate and have also asked Ken Rogers and his video/film students to document the Cave Sim experience and to create an AR/VR film. In order to help with the cost of bringing the Cave Sim experience to Mac at no extra cost to students, we have started a fundraising campaign. The goal is to raise enough money to cover the cost of the program and to donate some of the funds to Mr. Rogers, to help with equipment and software. Please click here to donate.
