16 members of the McCallum Swim Team advanced to compete at the UIL Region 5-5A Swim Meet on Feb 1-2 at Texas A&M in College Station, TX. For the 1st time in MAC Swim history, every swimmer entered in events swam both days, making either consolation finals (9-16 place) or finals (1-8 place). As the only Senior to make Regionals, Co-Captain Claire Rudy capped a successful 4 year season as she helped set two new team records as a member of both the girls 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays.

Setting new team records and advancing to the UIL State Swim Meet on Feb. 15-16 were:
Freshman Zoe Lynch – 2nd Place in Girls 100 Breaststroke
Junior Cole Kershner – 3rd Place in Boys 50 Free
Junior Alex Lynch – 3rd Place in Boys 200 IM and Region Champion in Boys 100 Breaststroke.
