Larry Featherstone

larry featherstoneLarry A. Featherstone was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Benton Harbor, Michigan. After graduating high school, he received a full athletic scholarship to Western Michigan University—a Division I university in Kalamazoo, MI. He graduated from Western Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree and later returned to earn his Master’s Degree.

Larry has twenty years of combined experience in education as an Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, Coach and Teacher. Since moving to Texas with his family in 2010, Larry has truly enjoyed making the transition from coaching high school sports to coaching his children. He has coached them in football, basketball, baseball, and in soccer.

Larry is currently an Assistant Principal at McCallum High School in Austin, Texas. In addition to that role, he has also served as Summer School Principal for EOC (End of Course/STAAR) at Akins High School in Austin.

Larry loves his job and enjoys mentoring, shaping, and molding the lives of young people.

Larry has an infectious and passionate personality and loves sharing life’s lessons with students and colleagues.
