Join the dancers of the McCallum Youth Dance Company in their spring dance concert, Momentum. Experience excellence in arts education, with dance works by guest choreographers Kelsey Oliver, Lisa Kobdish, as well as teachers Rachel Murray and Natalie Uehara. Featured dance styles will include modern, contemporary jazz, Flamenco and ballet.

The concert, showcasing the talents of youth dancers from Austin’s only public high school dedicated to the performing and visual arts, runs for two shows, 7 pm on March 8th and 9th at the McCallum Arts Center at 5600 Sunshine Dr. Tickets are $7 for students, $10 for seniors, $12 for adults and $20.00 VIP, and are available for purchase at the door or online at https://squareup.com/store/MACDANCEDREAMS/

The McCallum Youth Dance Company is one of many programs in McCallum’s Fine Arts Academy, which was named as the number one 2015 National GRAMMY Signature School. As Austin ISD’s district-wide fine arts intensive high school program, the Fine Arts Academy at McCallum High School provides an exemplary arts education program for 9th – 12th grade students to pursue an accelerated arts curriculum as fine arts majors.
