Please consider donating to our campaign to acquire classroom guitars for students during the virtual learning semester! We do not have enough guitars to support remote instruction and need your support!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award-winning classical guitar program at McCallum High School and Fine Arts Academy will be following a remote learning curriculum until students and teachers can safely return to in-person schooling.

Unfortunately, the school only has 35 guitars on hand — not nearly enough to support instruction for remote classes for 150 students.

The McCallum Guitar Boosters have set an emergency fundraising goal of $5,000 in order to purchase at least 15 new guitars for the program’s remote learning needs.

Once teachers and students can return safely to school, these guitars will replace older worn-out and broken instruments and provide students with an improved classroom experience.

Donate to the 2020 Guitar Fund through GoFundMe here.

Direct donations of new or gently used nylon-string classical guitars are also appreciated!
