On Tuesday, September 27th, 2016, prospective students and their families were invited to attend McCallum Fine Art Academy’s Showcase 2016. The evening involved performances and presentations by each of the arts majors, which include band, choir, dance, film, guitar, theatre, orchestra, piano, and visual art. If you missed this year’s performance, you can still find information about applying and other events on these Academy webpages.
Academy Audition & Portfolio Workshop Day
On Saturday, December 17th, the Fine Arts Academy hosted a Workshop Day for prospective students/parents to learn more about the application and audition/portfolio review process. Students met with faculty from their area(s) of interest to obtain valuable instruction to prepare for the audition/portfolio reviews at the beginning of the new year. Parents participated in sessions to hear more about the Academy and how best to support their students through the process as well as had the opportunity to ask a myriad of questions. If you were unable to attend this year’s Workshop Day, we have posted the handouts and the presentation from the parent sessions below.
