Esteemed Parents and Students of McCallum 11th grade:

This is a reminder that the SAT Administration is Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 but the deadline to register for it is this Friday, March 26th. Here is the registration link in case you would like to test:

If you had already registered for the March 3rd administration (original date for this April 13 administration), we are automatically registering you for this April 13th administration, but you are welcomed to submit a new form if you’d like to make sure it’s completed. We will accept your most recent submission, so long as it is submitted by the March 26th deadline. You must register through the link in order to test- if the form is not submitted, we will assume you are opting out of taking it.

As a reminder, this optional free of cost SAT Administration (without the Essay) is for our McCallum 11th graders. This administration will be IN-PERSON on the McCallum campus. There is no remote online administration available. You MUST submit this survey by March 26th in order to be registered for this test. This allows us to accommodate staff and students for the number of students that would like to test in order to continue to abide by safety guidelines and protocols.

On this testing date, we will continue to enforce our safety protocols of requiring masks to be worn at all times, social distancing, complete AISD screener COVID questions, and temperature checks prior to entry. Students will be provided number two pencils and a graphing calculator, but are of course welcomed to bring their own. Snacks will not be permitted to minimize taking off masks while testing, but students are allowed to bring a bottle of water. Other belongings should be left at home. We will try to keep the number of students per room as small as possible, and may be able to offer courtyard testing to those students that are interested.

Testing will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and may end until 2:00 p.m. latest. More details will be provided as we get closer to the date for those students that have opted in.

If you decide to opt-out or cannot make that date, College Board offers multiple opportunities to take the SAT directly through them. The difference would be that there will be a fee for those administrations. Here is the information for how you can register directly through College Board:
