FAFSA Workshop

FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, opened October 1.

House Bill 3 requires all Seniors to either complete the FAFSA form or the FAFSA opt-out form as part of graduation requirements. The FAFSA encompasses grants that can help with college costs.

Aid is awarded on a first come first serve basis. Be the first to apply!

McCallum is hosting events to help you complete your FAFSA or TASFA, Texas Application for State Financial Aid. Please join us for a FAFSA information session in-person or virtually.

Remember, it’s helpful to bring the documents listed below, if applicable to you:

• List of colleges and/or universities the student is interested in attending.
• Student/Parent Driver’s License number and Social Security number
• Student/Parent Alien Registration card, if student is a legal permanent resident
• All Student/Parent/Guardian tax return documents for 2020 and/or W2

You must submit proof to Ms. Nix via Google form or email, camille.nix@austinisd.org, to complete the graduation requirement.
