Invite Little Ones to the Princess Tea Party on Saturday, 10/29

All fans of princesses and dress up are invited to tea hosted by MacTheatre students in the Cafeteria at 2 pm on the 29th. Your favorite princess (and maybe a prince!) will perform, sign autographs and take pictures with attendees.  Tea party snacks and drinks will be provided. Geared to kids ages 10 and under, but fun for all ages.

Knights beat Austin on Ian Carson FG as time expires

In a wild game that featured four lead changes, four tie scores and 845 yards of total offense, McCallum prevailed over Austin High, 44-41, because Ian Carson’s 36-yard field goal sailed through the uprights as time expired. Deron Gage rushed for three touchdowns and 90 yards, and Andre Blakemore rushed for 173 yards and a score. MAC Band reels in the recognition

Good band news was plentiful this weekend. On Friday, the Wind Ensemble learned it had been named a National Wind Band Finalist. Knight staff earns All-American rating

The yearbook staff has earned an All-American rating, the highest possible, from the National Scholastic Press Association. The 2016 Knight received 470 out of a possible 500 points and marks of distinction for essentials, coverage, writing and editing and photography.
